Hyoscine N-butylbromide and Paracetamol (Buscopan^®Plus) is a dual action formula that relieves stronger abdominal pain caused by cramps and spasms. Hyoscine-N-butylbromide relieves the pain by acting on muscle spasm which causes the pain; and Paracetamol that has analgesic properties.

WHAT SIDE EFFECTS MAY HAPPEN WHEN I TAKE HYOSCINE-N-BUTYLBROMIDE + PARACETAMOL (BUSCOPAN^® PLUS)?

Uncommon: Skin reactions (eg. rash, redness, itchiness), abnormal sweating, dry mouth

Rare: Low blood pressure, fast heart rate

For suspected adverse drug reactions, report to www.fda.gov.ph and CHCPV@sanofi.com. Patients should seek medical attention immediately at the first sign of any adverse drug reaction.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE?

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose next time, but continue taking the medicine as prescribed by your doctor or as described in the package leaflet.

Signs and symptoms of overdosage may include:

worsening of abdominal pain
vomiting
lack of appetite
worsening of eye pain in patients with glaucoma

Seek immediate medical attention when any of these is observed.
